MyoStudyBuddy is a massage therapy education and exam preparation platform offering OSCE prep, MCQ practice, one-on-one tutoring, small group sessions, mentoring, and digital study products. We support massage therapy students and graduates through exam-aligned preparation, personalized guidance, and community-based learning.
Who Started MyoStudyBuddy?
MyoStudyBuddy is run by Steph The Massage Therapist, alongside a small team of licensed educators. Steph brings extensive experience in massage therapy teaching, program coordination, and accreditation surveying, which directly informs the structure, accuracy, and exam alignment of all MyoStudyBuddy materials.
Our team is trained not only in massage therapy content, but also in how students learn and apply information effectively, including:

Do you offer one-on-one tutoring?
Yes. One-on-one tutoring is a core part of MyoStudyBuddy. These sessions are fully personalized and may focus on OSCE stations, MCQs, clinical reasoning, exam flow, study strategies, or specific problem areas.
Do you offer small group tutoring?
Yes. Small group sessions are available for students who prefer collaborative learning while still receiving structured guidance and individualized feedback. Group sizes are kept small to ensure quality instruction and meaningful interaction.
What digital products do you offer?
We offer both ready-to-use and customized digital study products.

Our goal is to ensure you have everything you need when studying, without unnecessary or overwhelming content.
Do digital products include support?
Yes. Many of our digital products include the option for clarification and guided assistance. Students can ask questions and request explanations to ensure understanding.
How long do I have access to digital products?
Digital products typically include 3 months of access. This allows us to regularly update case scenarios and materials to reflect current exam expectations and improve clarity. Repurchasing ensures continued access to the most up-to-date content.
Are your OSCE cases and MCQs exam-based?
Yes. All OSCE practice stems and MCQs are developed using the official exam handbook and aligned with current exam competencies. Content is reviewed and updated regularly to remain exam-relevant.
Are sessions online or in person?
Most sessions are conducted online via Google Meet using an interactive and structured session flow.
In-person sessions may be available upon request, depending on location, scheduling, and availability.
Do you only support Ontario students?
While the majority of our students are based in Ontario, we also support students from British Columbia, New Brunswick, and other provinces.
For students outside Ontario, we:
Review the specific provincial exam handbook
Customize notes, MCQs, and OSCE practice materials
Align content with provincial competencies
Adjust exam strategies to match provincial expectations

Do you offer mentoring in addition to tutoring?
Yes. Mentoring is an important part of MyoStudyBuddy. Mentoring may include exam mindset support, confidence building, navigating exam stress, transitioning from student to graduate, and professional guidance beyond content alone.
What teaching approach does MyoStudyBuddy use?
MyoStudyBuddy uses a community-based teaching approach. We believe students learn best when they feel supported, connected, and encouraged to ask questions.
